They rejected the trade on the basis that they don't want to entertain any offers for Gasol with Nash out. They apparently promised Nash that they would let him play with Gasol. If he's putting up similar numbers with Nash's return (completely plausible), he's more than likely gone. Calderon
would provide some good minutes behind Nash. With Nash's injury/age, Calderon
makes a lot of sense.
