Yeah I think Lowry needs to be traded at the end of the season.

The reality of the situation is the team is YEARS away of fixing the big bowl of sh*t BC left for us. It's unfortunate but I think the Raps are going to be looking at a Leafs like situation where they're 8+ years from our last playoff trip before we make it again. Best way to do that is to blow it up, bottom out and tank in the loaded 2014 class, not further wreck our cap by maxing out Lowry and trying to make the playoffs. Absolute worst case scenario is not getting a Lowry extension but keeping him until his UFA anyways

If we get a good GM I think he will do the right thing by trading Lowry at the peak of his value to a winning team, and rebuilding next year in a possible "draft of the decade", especially with a Canadian player ranked #1
