The other players putting up his numbers or better are making more than 10 mill, a lot more.

I was on board with trading Calderon's expiring contract early in the year when Lowry was beasting, but the more I watch Lowry struggle, I get worried if we dealt Calderon, we would be seeing a lot more of John Lucas, which I am sure we can both agree would be a nightmare..

I'm on the fence with dealing both, but would be more willing to depart with Calderon assuming we can get a good return, Lowry returns to form, and we can find a better backup PG.
His contract is far from a bargain and he's more of a 17/4 player this season. The fact is that he's inconsistent across the board at both ends of the court. He's a 7 footer that doesn't block shots, doesn't rebound, at times looks uninterested and is at times inefficient on the offensive end. Would i amnesty him, hell no. We can get something decent for him imo, and i don't think his contract is that bad by NBA standards. But this guy isn't helping his own cause this season. Nor has he most of his career, the criticism directed at him is mostly waranted and of his own doing.
