What's really interesting to me is why Casey didn't put his best perimeter defender (Lowry, presumably) on Holiday when he was out there with Jose? Admittedly, I don't believe for a second that Lowry would have done much better - a good quick athletic point simply cannot be stopped one-on-one, especially if he uses screens and can shoot the three.

That is not to say that Jose is a good one-on-one defender - he is not. But time and time again, especially when playing for the national team, he has proven to be a capable team defender. I'd say that Raptors failed to defend well as a team in the fourth, but the game was lost on the offensive end of the floor, where they once again failed to manufacture enough points to win.
