I found the last two paragraphs to be the most relative to me and my boys (5, 9, 11). The way the education system is set up is not conducive to their learning needs. Girls are much more capable of sitting still and listening quietly behind a desk for hours. It really is going to have to be adapted at some point, rather than just label 50% of boys with ADHD.
And more male teachers would be a great help.
