I am talking to people, and quite a few of them, who wanted to get rid of Jose no matter what we were getting in return. Neither Gay nor Iggy deal were anything more than a figment of fans' imagination.
don't be a doorknob mike. that is what people were hoping for this summer when we were all talking about trading jose. your whole post is based on us getting rid of him for nothing, and, at least during this summer, no one was really talking about that. all that stuff was in years past when he was constantly injured, horrible defensively, still had multiple years on his contract, and when we were trying to tank.

if you could find a few posts that are talking about this from this summer it would help make your post look less like you are inventing something to argue against. and if you can only find one or two, it's hardly worth a thread where you expect recognition. this was just not a widespread opinion this summer, particularly after we got lowry.

nice try homeboy.

edit - oh, and by the way, throw 'calderon for rudy gay rumor' in google and see how many articles you get from the summer. iguodala too. this was talked about, and not just by us. if there are articles, it gets discussed here. that's basically par for the course. so, again, nice try homeboy.
