He is probably the best backup pg in the league to have. He will have moments as a spot starter (like yesterday) but he's best not used as a starter.

I think he's the ideal backup PG because he minimizes risks (and thus turnovers) with his conservative ball handling and decision-making. I think it's best to have a bench that is not erratic. Now, I'm not saying I want my starting PG to be out of control and be a turnover machine. I want the starting PG to take some risks, to be able to break down opposing defenses, to be a playmaker for himself and others, etc.
