They need to find the right pace. They can't afford too many possessions without letdowns from the defense. They need to get easy points in transition off defense when they can, but just running and taking quick shots ends up killing their defense in the long run. Get stops, find a rhythm and execute. That saves some energy throughout the game, and gives them some sense of what to do when they need to play that way late.
Tonight was just guys being worn down, and really they did a great job of not giving up anything in the third.
