The Heat haven't blown by that mark with their considerably better roster so I would have to attribute at least a bit of that to Brown. Also he was good enough for the Lakers to hire which is saying something in and of itself. He has experience and results, which is a lot more than I can say about any of our coaches since Lenny. I don't think you're giving him a fair shake in your assessment.
When you have best player in NBA is not such a rocket science to win. He did good job in making them play defense but offense took care of itself with LBJ. Plus they did have some good quality players on that team like Mo Williams for example ( All star in one of those seasons with Brown ) Raptors
have nobody at that level, no way Brown would be successful coach here, he could not do anything with Lakers full of stars that's why he got canned.
