even fields has admitted time and time again that his contributions don't show up in the stat sheets. dude is just setting his own standard/bar low so we're not disappointed. so that when he has regular 5 pts, 3 rbs, 1 ast nights we're all like "oh thats fine, cause he's the glue guy. his contribution to the team may not be tangible on paper, but we're sure lucky to have him"
this whole glue guy thing is getting to be a played out term. now being used a little too liberally by GMs and coaches for mediocre basketball players.
give me a "glue guy" that actually shows his worth both in the stats and in his hustle.
then again...im praying for the Raptors
sake that LF proves me wrong
