Bleacher report: Over/Under Raptor wins

I would say 38 is the number to look at, 32 is too low imo.

2012-13 Projected Over/Under: 32 Wins

2011-12 Record: 23-43

The Toronto Raptors have been craving more respect as a franchise but haven't put the product on the floor in recent years to justify receiving it. Their 2011-12 season showed defensive improvement, but as a whole, it was another poor one.

As a team, the Raptors turn the ball over too much and don't force enough on the other end. They play at a very conservative pace, which doesn't seem to fit their athletic blend of players. This could change a bit in 2012-13 with the arrivals of Kyle Lowry, Terrence Ross and Jonas Valanciunas.

There's nothing wrong with playing a slower, more defensive-minded style, but the roster needs to be created with that style in mind. They're moving in that direction, albeit slowly.
