there has always been a rich in the NBA and a poor.. but when the rich get super rich by adding superstars from the midclass/uppermidclass teams (the ones that couldve made it , were doing fine, but fell short ie. magic, suns, cavs, and even the Raptors ) what you end up getting is a smaller middle class, a larger pool of poor teams and the rich teams already running the show get even more spectacular and powerful. and thats exactly why parity should be an issue when talking about superteams. (ive always been taught succesful countries need a strong middle class, and that the rich get richer and poor get poorer and the world we live in sucks....but thats totally unrelated, well sort of)

i mean look at the eastern conference, all the time on here i see comments about how open everything is from 6th-12th seed, and thats because there isnt a a middle group of teams we're all pretty sucky to kinda decent battling for late playoff spots and thats because LA needs to have an all-star starting 5 to compete with Miami's and this looks like it'll be a continued trend...... LA say goodbye to cp3 new york will need a pg next year and blahblahblah
