Default Some Interesting Raps Tidbits from Yahoo Sports

This was an article from the other day that I missed but it had some interesting Raptor content in it. Matt Buser discussed his first half of the Fantasy season awards and mention a couple Raptors in his mid-season wrap-up.

They are as follows:

C: Andrea Bargnani - Bargnani has been a colossal disappointment in what was supposed to be his coming out party as the Raptors' starting C. He's been in and out of the starting lineup, however, thanks to spotty production and injury, and his season average (243) and total (220) ranks are nowhere near his ADP (78.3). The lowlights include 9 points on 38 percent shooting, 3.5 rebounds, 0.2 steals, and 0.5 blocks in 23 minutes per game. Perhaps his big game against the Celtics on Wednesday (20 points, three treys, seven boards, seven assists) will be the start of something good

PG: Jose Calderon - Can you say "no-brainer"? Calderon has been ridiculously good since taking over for T.J. Ford, just as many within the fantasy community thought he could be. He's averaged 13.8 points on 51 percent shooting, 1.2 threes, 9.9 assists (versus just 1.8 turnovers), and 1.2 steals in his 28 starts, he's 10th in the league in per-game rank over the past month, and is at the top of the Keys to Success rankings in both roto and H-2-H.

SF: Jamario Moon - Moon hasn't been the picture of consistency, but his overall contributions have made him a cult favorite among fantasy owners. In 38 games, the well-traveled 27-year-old rookie has averaged 8.2 points, 0.4 threes, 6.4 boards, 1 steal, and 1.6 blocks.
Now, the most interesting part was when he mentioned who was his mid-season rookie of the year so far. I for one thought it would be Durant but read what he had to say about Durant:

SG: Kevin Durant
Durant takes the honor by virtue of his ADP (37.6) versus his per-game rank (100). Fantasy owners expecting a fantasy impact worthy of an early fourth-round pick, on average, have been let down thanks to the single largest negative impact on field-goal percentage (40 percent shooting on 17.2 attempts per game), high turnovers (2.9 per game), and sub-par supporting stats (4.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists).
So, with that being said Matt's fantasy rookie of the year so far is none other than:
