I've been trying to practice by shooting inside out, but I am not feeling any of my shots. Do you guys have any special routines to help warm up your jumpers?
My high school coach uses the same type of philosophies as Dell. He'll never let us shoot right away, always lay-ups first. It allows the brain to see the ball going into the net, building confidence.
I also like to practice my form by shooting free throws one-handed. I have trouble with consistent jumpshot form, so shooting one handed gets everything all synchronized and crisp before I start into shooting for real.
