could be anything from a strain to mild whiplash. Keep an eye for very sharp pains though, and when I mean sharp I mean the ones that hit you like a truck and feel like the burn... many a neck has bee broken or cracked with th poor guy not knowing it.
Now assuming it's not broken ( i hope), Baracuda is bang on. I live with a pretty smart personal fitness coach and thats what he does. The alternate hot cold treatment is best. The Heated pad is good for initially heating it up though for stretching...you ABSOLUTELY must stretch it and massage it. Hopefully you have a nice girl in Ottawa to help you out with that!
