Conley is a true PG IMO. He controls the tempo of the game, gets his bigs involved consistently, and doesnt take many shots despite most teams playing under the screen vs him where he has every opportunity to take a lot of perimeter shots but turns them down to back it out or penetrate back in the lane to get better shots for mostly his teammates. His ast numbers arent super high because Memphis has 4 other guys who can create their own offence. But I consider him to be one of the pure PGs the league has. Him and Bayless play nothing alike. If anything Bayless plays like Westbrook with his flashes of great play, but more often his terrible shot selection early in the clock, but the main difference being Westbrook is a much better finisher at the rim.
