Default Canadian politics

I thought of starting a thread where we'd discuss Canadian politics, post excerpts of late dealings, etc, for those events which some would say don't merit a thread in itself. i'll start.

Keystone Pipeline Deal Postponed by Americans… Harper Tells Obama Canada Is Mine To Pollute As I See Fit … Harper Off To China… Vows To Make New Best Friend | Archemdis's Blog

it's a long read, but worth it for anyone with time. It discusses the keystone pipeline, The effect Obama has had with Canadian/U.S trade, and how Harper is now running off to china to create another ally to backtrack his tracks after telling Canadians that treating the U.S with the upmost respect would lead to our benefit.

Harper has done this time and time again, backtrack should be his middle name. Say one thing, see it's a flop, and change it immediately, and take no recognition on the topic ever again. Reminds me of a certain someone in the republican race right now..

thought Trane would love this thread
