There aren't too many guys playing SF that are quicker than PJ3. His athleticism is the reason he can play SF in the NBA. If he bulks up he could move to PF, but he has the quickness to play on the perimeter. His work ethic and effort on the defensive end are his possible achilles heels. Not his quickness.
Also, not every good SF is a 3 point specialist. Like I said, he's a good fit for the Raptors, because we need someone to work hard rebounding, playing D and getting out in transition. We can already get good spacing in the offence with Bargnani
at PF. And don't forget, Valanciunas also has good range for his position, though not yet out to the NBA 3 point line.
What's the difference between an inch or two? I dunnoo...What's the difference between a step or two of the block or 2 tenths quicker in the forty? Lots.
Your 2nd paragraph is ridiculous.... there are a boatload quicker at SF, actually most of them. And I said don't tell me he can play PF since he hasn't and he can't and seriously its a complete unknown... so what do you do? He's not playing PF.
And I didn't say he needed to be a 3 poit specialtist? I think that's a negative.
The guy is a tweener and that's the problem.
And DURANT is 6'9" and just a weeee bit (sarcasm) quicker.
