Warriors Curry out for season?

Found on RealGM

As per the San Francisco Chronicle

Quote:
Warriors owner Joe Lacob said that if the team doesn't shut down Curry for the rest of the year, then "[Curry will] be back playing in a month" - Yahoo Fantasy Sports
If he does come back after the one month, they'll be long gone from the playoff picture and he'll return for 6 games against the: Lakers, Mavs, Rockets, Wolves, Spurs, and the Hornets, 6 games that they have a tiny chance of winning, other than the Hornets. For the future of their team I personally believe that they should heal him up and bust out next season with their draft pick, him and Bogut, but I'm no GM.

But more importantly, how does this affect the tank?
