Pretty optimistic article, we'll see how he does in his first year.
What I like about JV's game - at least from what I've read and seen - is that the guy has a serious motor. Yes, he may be a little lanky going into his rookie season, but if the guy is constantly hustling and looking to make a play, he's going to be useful. And the combination of that and his FT shooting should make him at least a little bit serviceable on the offensive end until he can improve.
It's rare that a player as big as JV gets billed as a high-energy guy with talent and workmanlike mentality. I obviously have a biased opinion, but it seems like even if he plays below expectations, he can be a decent big man off the bench.
