I used to be really high on Bogut. Two years ago, I would have thought it sounded good. Bogut is so risky. I think Bogut is the type of gamble a team like Washington can afford to make, as someone else already mentioned.
The Lakers could make serious improvements without ever giving up Bynum. The perimeter players are poop. Use that trade exception and Dallas pick to get someone. If they did that, they'd already achieved the benefit they'd get from acquiring Jackson, yet they get to keep Bynum.
