Basically 2 starting spots should be upgraded, placing two of our current starters on the bench which makes us a deeper team (JJ & Amir?). Maybe Barbosa is re-signed placing him in the 6 or 7th spot. And if we can get a top 6-7 pick, obviously he'd likely be somewhere in the top 10 as well.
This is exactly what I pray does not happen. This team is re-building, or building, or whatever. Primarily it is looking to construct a solid core to go along with the new cultural foundations. If there are guys on this roster that fit with that plan, then they should be held onto, unless another team holds out for them in deals that need to be made. If guys are not the best fit in the plan, then they should be moved for guys that can be better fits. Worrying too much about who starts and who doesn't, and who gets to be the primary or secondary option, is just getting ahead of where they are at. Everything needs to be about making the team work, and upgrading the talent anywhere possible in ways that the right team framework will magnify and bolster - thus producing the much needed core. There's just no room for random assessments and lists at this point.
