I think that's way too much of an exageration.

Pekovic can still kill other team's second units. Getting Gasol adds another dimension that others have already talked about. I also mentioned similar points in your thread.

You play Gasol 32 min, Love 35, and give Pekovic about 30. Run a tight 3 man big rotation. That's easy to do with Beasley and Williams gone.

But that does matter in terms of upside. Pek is good, but he's not going to get that much better. And you still don't know for sure that he can sustain his recent play over a full season.
