Other players who fit the salary range but are not expiring contracts:
Marvin Williams (3 yrs, 23M)
Anderson Varejao (4 yrs, 35M)
Shawn Marion (3 yrs, 25M)
Arron Afflalo (5 yrs, 39M)
Rodney Stuckey (3 yrs, 26M)
Rip Hamilton (2 yrs, 15M)
Charlie Villanueva (3 yrs, 24M)
Luis Scola (4 yrs, 39M)
Caron Butler (3yrs, 24M)
Kendrick Perkins (4 yrs, 33M)
Thaddeus Young (5 yrs, 43M)
Ray Felton (1yr, 7.56M - oops, missed an expiring)
John Salmons (4 yrs, 31M)
Paul Millsap (2 yrs, 17M)

So... yeah. Not a lot of options there that teams would want to give up for cheap. The Pistons would love to move those players for cap relief, but that equally means we don't want them.

This does give you an idea of the sort of players in the salary range we'd be taking back for Jose if it was a one-for-one straight up deal (with picks, of course).

Oh, well, it was a thought.
