With this year's draft expected to be extremely deep and talented, the Raptors
should keep its first-round pick unless they're acquiring a mega-star in return, which they won't be. Guys like Felton and Batum are not worth trading the team's 2012 or 2013 first-round pick. They are good players, but they are not franchise players.
The one player the Raptors
should deal is Barbosa. He has an expiring contract and likely won't be back next year. However, he has value to a contending team by providing offence off the bench, which, as Jason Terry showed last year, is invaluable.
