We hold on to players too long and then wring our hands two years later when they fall out of favour or suck balls and then we wonder why we didn't get rid of them when could have got something in return and whine that the GM needs to go. Here's a question, if Jose goes down with an injury say in february and misses a month again would everyone decide then we should at the very least consider amnestying him? What if we're offered a 1st round pick + Ebanks from the Lakers for him at the trade deadline, should we take that? It also amazes me that people say Jose is a top 10-15 PG and then say Bosh never got any help while here. A top 10 PG + Bosh and Bargnani should have won us a couple rounds in the playoffs, no?
Who are these players we've held on too long to and divested ourselves of two years later?
