Well since tdotballing was the original commish and he set that that rule, it doesn't make sense to just change it now. The reason I took Oden was because of what tdot stated. Obviously we're not going to get a consensus on how effective a player like Oden would be, but we cannot ignore his ability to change the game on the defensive end. Read what Bill Haverchuck wrote as I quoted earlier. That's the best way to describe it.
So in this particular matchup, we would consider Bynum healthy, and we all know Bynum is a beast when healthy (like he was this past season). A player like Brandon Roy on the other hand was fairly healthy last year but has lost a step so even healthy he can only be so effective. This is the only way to treat injuries. It would not make sense to just change the rules now because tdot made that rule before the picks were being made to make sure everyone was on the same page.
