If a player averages almost 40 minutes and gets spoon-fed the ball on a team that wins ~22 games during the season then sure, Demar can average over 20 pts. I do, however, expect the Raptors
to improve and play more of a team game. I also bet that Demar will be defended differently as he's emerging as a possibly bigger offensive threat than Bargnani. I expect more double teams on Demar which will result in him passing more and less trips to the free-throw line, a huge reason for his scoring last year. Therefore I voted under and there's nothing wrong with that. Averaging 20 pts on a decent team is an accomplishment and shouldn't be under-rated.
I will wait for the NBA season to start before gauging his 3 point shooting... let's not forget that he shot 9%. Even if he improved I doubt it will have much effect on his overall scoring.
