I updated my list to include Barbosa's option and Val's buyout situation. Note that until Val's cap hold comes off, there will be one less 'roster slot' cap hold on the cap. However, the team will still need to sign a 13th player before the season starts (this can theoretically be done on the day of the first game, if needed).
Also, any 'training camp fodder' players do not count against the cap, so, for example, an undrafted rookie could be brought in for training camp, then signed to fill that 13th spot on the first day of the season, when Val's cap hold disappears and is replaced with a roster slot cap hold. Or, more simply, they could simply not use their entire cap space this summer. Of course, if the Raptors
utilize sign and trades this summer rather than signing free agents outright, then their other cap holds won't be renounced, and the roster slot cap holds will be meaningless.
