Default Toronto worried about fans of the future

Leafs fans are dying off or fading away, while Raptors and FC fans are beginning to thrive. I love it.

Now we just need TSN and Sportsnet to get their act together and have basketball come before hockey on their daily wrap up shows.

How do the Leafs combat their fading fan base? Anselmi said that turning around the on-ice product would help expedite the process. He revealed the club's market research indicated that in 2007-08, only 51 per cent of the people surveyed considered themselves die-hard Leafs fans, down from 68 per cent the previous year.
