Sorry, but this formula they've concocted equals to a whole bunch of meaningless nothing.
Essentially it's about giving the fans a little more value for what they charge their fans. Basically, the Raptors tickets are quite a bit cheaper and the team has had a couple playoff appearances in the last 5 years vs much higher tickets and no playoffs in 7 years for the loafs. But really, the difference is negligible, since both teams blow and are run by the same ownership group. They were talking about this today on TSN radio and to a man they agreed with this. The Leafs for all the hype, the advantage of being a "hockey market" are one of the poorest run franchises in sports and i can't see anyone denying that, especially when you look at how much the fans get raped. Pretty appauling.
