Big Shaq's playing career isn't supposed to end like this. Thus this news is not satisfying to me. I'm 100% convinced that even at his age, if he was playing at 270 lbs. for 11-12, that he'd be able to produce as he did w/Phoenix in 08-09, avg'ing 18ppg, 9rpg, 2bpg on quality %'ages and playing awsome D in all areas, in 32mpg. If there's one guy who can be an all-star at age 40 like Micheal Jordan was, Shaq is the prime candidate.
I wish that in Chris Bosh's absence, we could bring Shaq here. Our training staff could get him into the shape I want him at, and he'd feel so good about himself thereof, and know he can do as he did for Phoenix w/us, for real.
But if the Big Aristotle is indeed content w/retiring now, then we can still bring him here for a front office gig, juss to kick Bryan's ass.
