yep. young guys (myself included) often feel invincible. You aren't.
Once the swelling goes down, you absolutely MUST get referred to a good Physio facility and follow what they tell you to do 100%.
There is no other way. And the stuff they ask you to do seems too easy at times, but it is exactly whats needed.
I was turfed for 3 months with a sprain once, taped it up with duct tape and tried to keep playing. All it did was keep me hurt, and lead to a bit of trouble in that ankle later in life.
It's shitty bad luck brother, but you'll get through it.
