I don't think Sloan will coach this year. He'll likely take the year off before returning. And when he does, I think he'll want to go to a team that is on the verge on contending for a title.
As for Triano, I'm not a fan of his. I think he's a very good assistant head coach but not coaching material. He lacks the presence needed to hold the players' attention. In addition, he still makes questionable rotation decisions and his defensive scheme is amateurish at best. Despite 2+ seasons as head coach, the Raptors
continue to make the same defensive mistakes over and over again. This isn't the result of young, inexperienced players on the court but just poor coaching.
