Badly run? Definitely but it wasn't the city of Vancouver's fault the team was run out of town. Under the right leadership I definitely think basketball could thrive out in Western Canada.

As for Montreal and Ottawa, Montreal is all about their Canadiens and Alouettes and Ottawa is way to small of a market. I don't see Canada getting another NBA franchise anytime soon.
