I find that the 3 shot is overemphasized today, and way too many talented shooters become high-volume chuckers at the 3 point line. It's a smart option for aging superstars who have to find new ways to score - the Paul Pierces of the world - but for young, explosive guards, I'd much prefer they take more 10-15 footers and drives to the basket, draw more fouls and get more respect from the refs.
Besides the fact taht comparing MJ and DD is a little bit of a stretch for now..I know I know it's only for example. I agree in a way, but less tahn 10% is really really impressive (in a negative way), and if you'r not MJ or Drexler (speaking of old players) you need a 3 pointer (let's say 30% ?)
