this actually baffles me.
its not like one day Roy woke up and found he had no cartilege in his knees. how is it that the Blazers medical staff didnt do anything about this, or even know about this?
really, if they knew how bad his knees were in the first place they wouldnt of given him a max deal at the time, and would have probably limited his minutes over the last 5 years, instead of grinding him every night, then throwing money at him.
i'm confused... dont these medical staffs do their research and do check ups on their players? especially their stars? especially their stars that they are going to pay max money for?
everyone knew his knees were problematic, but its as if this guy has changed overnight... he's gone from superstar to potential retiree in 6 months. how did this happen? and how did the blazers let it happen?
