Yes Denver and Utah did learn from the debacle of Toronto and Houston, and did some great moves for preventive measures. However in the summer of 2010, NJ did offer a similiar package to CLE for Lebron. Maybe NJ doesn't do the same for Bosh, but Houston was offering up almost everything for Bosh. Scola, Aaron Brooks, Kevin Martin or the draft rights to Avery Bradley would have looked really good in a Raps uniform. BC gambled and struck out. Now Toronto has trade exceptions that will expire in the summer.
Houston was offering those players last summer as a S&T and Bosh
didn't want to go there, no? I don't remember Houston offering up half their roster before that. Plus it couldn't happen even if BC wanted to unless Bosh
signed an extension with Houston.
