You know, a lot has to do with the time of year too.
A lot of good teams just aren't as hungry as the bottom feeders who have younger dudes trying like hell to earn a spot next year, and sub stars trying to play their way out of town to a better team.
Toronto is in trouble. I don't see the optimistic side. Mostly because trade and draft picks can be so erratic. there isn't one guy on this squad who is developing into a sure fire All star. How can you win consistently that way?
DD and Ed, JJ, these young guys are good, but really..... how good in comparison to the stars of the league?
