Indeed. It is similar to something that I've argued before: if you support abortions, in what meaningful sense can you still identify as Catholic?

I also detest the supposed "pro-life vs pro-choice" dichotomy. A bunch of bs framing and political positioning going on there.

I agree with the general principle (re: silencing dissenting opinions) but, again, we're talking Catholicism: a central point to the faith is that the Church has a high degree of infallibility and could not be wrong on this point.
