Being the leading scorer on an Olympic gold medal team is nothing? It's not the NBA HOF, it's the basketball HOF. And what years did he fail to make the playoffs with a good roster? Every year he missed the playoffs he was on a poor team. His teams have only missed the playoffs 5 times in 13 years. That's hardly a lot. If you want to look at a failure in terms of missing the playoffs, look at someone like Bosh, who has already missed the playoffs 5 times, and he's only in his 8th season.

If Dominique Wilkins is a HOFer, VC is EASILY a HOFer. He's already had far more team success than Nique had, and everyone before him who put up similar numbers to his made the hall.

Vince has acheived a tonne in terms of individual accomplishments: Rookie of the Year, great career numbers, most points in a season Raptors, most points in a season Nets, holds/co-holds a slew of Raptors, Nets, and NBA records. Really the only thing he hasn't accomplished is winning a championship, but there are loads of players in the HOF who never won a championship. There are loads of players already in the HOF with less acheivements than VC. It is not true to say he's the one guy with over 20k points who has acheived basically nothing.
