I reserve judgment on Bayless. It's too early.
Bayless needs an offseason to increase his shooting percentages, and after that a solid stretch as the starter before a good evaluation can be made.
I think that if he puts in the work he can be a solid Jameer Nelson type PG in the NBA. He's never going to be a Chris Paul, but I personally don't think that's what great teams need out of their PG.
Same goes for James Johnson. If he puts in the work he can be a solid contributor, but right now he's still adjusting to his new team and learning how to fit the role.
