it was ok, but i find most comedies so-so these days...doesn't seem to be anything that could be classified as original anymore (like most Hollywood films these days)
Animal House, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, Dr. Strangelove or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb and The Pink Panther are all what i would consider classics or originals
but at 51 i guess i'm too old or too serious to "get" comedy
They are all classics. I have seen them all numerous times. I guess i am of the personality that isnt too critical. I find the good in everything.
Thats one thing i notice with people on message boards (and i am not referencing you, or anyone else) but they tend to be very negative.
Not only negative, but also egg on arguements over trivial things. Its fine to say you dislike something, but to categorize a movie as not funny. Well thats just relative.
