The Knicks have been a zoo for a few years, so ignore them, but I bet you can guess what most of the contending teams have in common. They go ahead and pay the tax. If your aim was just to break even for the regular season, the playoff success you get most years would line your pockets and give you some respect around the league.
As for MLSE, fans are being made fools of because the same site says the Leafs earned 82.5 mil. At least they have an excuse not to spend....a hard cap. The Raptors
really don't. The whole thing is a money making entity first. Never mind going to the game and watching the Raptors
get their asses kicked. Just walk up to a 64 year old teacher and hand him $200 every time you get the urge to go to a game.
