A different coach like Popovich or Sloan would require a different GM to provide the players coaches like that are looking for. It would mean blowing it up for real.
Isolating the coach, without considering the GM doesn't work. The one positive about Triano is that he works well as a tandem with the current GM. I'm not sure if that's a big positive, or if blowing it up for real would be the better way to go. Wake me up around this time next year.
