Exclamation Toronto Raptors mid-season report: the stock watch

Here are a few excerpts:

Andrea Bargnani – With the way he oscillates regularly between the being best player on the floor and a bumbling big man who won’t rebound and can’t hit a jump shot to save his life, the enigmatic Italian might be the NBA’s most frustrating player. That said, we’ve seen more consistency from Bargnani as he steps out of Chris Bosh’s shadow this season, and if the Raptors have an All-Star calibre player, no question he is it.

Linas Kleiza – Hands down the biggest nightly disappointment we’ve seen on the court, Kleiza is getting ample playing time and delivering very little. Or at least he was, until he succumbed to the recent rash injuries that have taken hold of Toronto’s locker room like a bad case of bedbugs.

Jose Calderon – First the Raptors nearly sent Calderon packing in the offseason, then forced him to defer to Jarrett Jack as the starting point guard. But since Jack’s startling trade to New Orleans, good old Jose has settled back into his familiar role, and posted familiar numbers, which is why he winds up equal to where he started.
