I get we're in a rebuild, but really, in the sports landscape and even in the basketball landscape we're really nowhere. In a basketball standpoint, we're already having trouble recruiting FA's to sign here. Why make it more harder?
Depends how one equates irrelevance. I mean the attendance for the Raps (a bad team) is pretty good, a game against SAC drawing 17,000+ is damn good. Are we irrelevant in the league itself, absolutely...every shit team is for the most part. But in this city they aren't irrelevant, far from it imo due to a healthy sized fanbase.
