He is a willing passer, he willingly passes to sonny weems
that is he problem, he plays only with 1 guy and that guy is the wrong guy
with weems out he's being forced and challenged to play with the rest of the team, seriously before weems was hurt demar looked on most nights like he was just on the court for the sake of being a 5th guy and he was supposed to "gain experience", now he actually looks engaged

but the guy is still very 1D, he's scoring and then he's still very predictable, the spin move in the paint, the inability to hit a shot outside of probably 15-18 feet
his jump shot requires a lot of squaring up and setting up, his drives to the net in traffic always involves a layup finish, meaning no ability to rise above the defense, no hangtime as previously overhyped, even his layups lack that star finesse and length with the arms, there's no real twisting of the body and arms, its actually a lot like his jump shot, there's a lot of squaring up to the net to make the shot
