Um, you act like his contract is an albatross. Amir is a young, healthy 23 year old with a great motor. Just like the
Bargnani contract, his deal will look better in time not worse.
If Amir was 30, then yes, I'd definitely say given his play, it's time to go. At 30 your numbers go down, not up. Amir's problem is he just can't stay on the floor long enough without fouling; when he's on the floor, he's really effective. That can be fixed, and he's damn efficient when he plays for extended stretches.
