Actually, why not try a S&T'd Lou Williams and Thad Young for Mike Miller? Their future would be sacrificed, but hell, they'd be contenders right now with a Miller/Miller/Iguodala/Brand/Dalembert starting 5. You might as well give yourself that chance. None of their young guys are legitimate enough #1 players that could win them a chip anyways, Brand is probably closer to that than Iggy or Thad Young will ever be... chances are they'd just end up being mediocore once Brand got old and Andre Miller left somewhere else.
As for Minnesota, you build around a core of Williams, Young, Jefferson, Love, and then have Foye, Brewer, Gomes, McCants as supporting players, along with a couple more high lottery picks in the next couple years... that would make up for giving up Mayo stupidly. Honestly, what's the point of keeping Miller for them... to get them worse picks in the next couple years and then sign somewhere else when his contract runs out or just end up as too old to contribute once they hit the playoffs? Oh I forgot, this is McFail. Of course.
